Now that summer has arrived quench your thirst with some delicious tea, without heating up your kitchen.

Make sure you use a glass mason jar, or other glass container to make your sun tea.  Plastics can leach harmful chemicals into your drink.  Also use filtered water free of any contaminants for the best taste and a safe drink.

Herbal Sun Tea Recipe

This recipes uses Tazo Tazo® Wild Sweet Orange Filterbag Tea

1. Put 4-6 tea bags into a 2 quart glass container with a lid.

2. Fill with cold, filtered water and lid.

3. Put container in direct sunlight for 3-5 hours.  Watch for tea to change color.  When it looks like the color of normal tea, you can remove container from the sun.

4. Place tea in the fridge and drink once cool.  Tea will keep for a few days.

5. You can garnish your iced tea with slices of orange, lemon, or sprigs of mint to enhance the flavor.
